Trade Skills Ltd accepts firm bookings through the website, telephone by post and fax. In making such bookings all clients accept these 'Terms and Conditions' and ‘Bookings and Cancellations Policy’.
Course fees are payable in full after a provisional booking has been made. A provisional booking is a booking made online or offline including the acceptance of Trade Skills Ltd booking policy. An invoice will be raised for every online and offline provisional booking made. An invoice sent to a business can be paid by debit card, credit card, cheque or BACS. If a provisional booking is made in the name of an individual and not a business payment is taken over the telephone by debit or credit card after the provisional booking has been made. A business paying by cheque or BACS should return payment in full after the provisional booking has been made. Places on courses and dates requested can not be confirmed or guaranteed until full payment has been received.
Please note: Credit card payments will incurr a 2.5% charge. Debit card payments will not incurr any additional charges. Trade Skills Ltd will accept funding from relevent funding organisations/bodies however the delegate attending will be held responsible and standard terms and conditions apply. Any outstanding balances that are not paid by the funding organisation will be forwarded onto the delegate attending.
The acceptance of a purchase order number or booking secured by deposit is entirely at the discretion of Trade Skills Ltd. In the event Trade Skills Ltd agree to accept a purchase order number instead of payment in advance of the course this will confirm your place(s) on the course and therefore standard cancellation terms will apply. In the event Trade Skills Ltd will not accept a purchase order or deposit, full payment is required to confirm a place on a course. In the event course fees are not processed sucessfully full course fees will still apply. If payment is not received in full Trade Skills Ltd may pass the outstanding amount to a third party debt collection organisation at which point additional charges may be applied.
All cancellations must be made in writing prior to the commencement date of a course. Where courses are cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to course commencement a 50% fee will apply. In the event of non-attendance or course cancellations received less than 15 days prior to course commencement date: full fees will be charged.

Under no circumstance can Trade Skills Ltd offer refunds on registrations that have been made in the event of cancellation or transfer on these courses.
If it is agreed that a refund is to be given to a customer/company, the following applies:
- Refunds are ONLY made by cheque, regardless of how the course was paid for originally.
- The cheque will ONLY be made payable to the customer/company who made the payment originally.
- It will take the accounts department a MINIMUM of 5 working days to raise said cheque. We cannot control how long it takes the post to be delivered, so please also take this into consideration when waiting for a cheque.
- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE will credit card charges be refunded (even if the refund is the result of an error by Trade Skills Ltd). It is the customers decision to pay by credit card and therefore they accept the initial charge.
- If a customer requests a replacement cheque, a charge of £10.00 will be deducted from the new cheque. This is because the bank charge a fee to cancel a cheque.
