If you have already achieved the 6129 certification and you are currently employed or self-employed then you are eligible to enter the City and Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 training course. You may also be considered for entry onto this NVQ Level 2 Plumbing course if you hold at least 5 years experience within the plumbing industry.

6089 NVQ Level 2 Assessment

Assessments for the City and Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 are carried out onsite so there is no need to visit our centers. Trade Skills Ltd are able to offer this service as we have fully qualified NVQ assessors based all over the United Kingdom.

Upon registering for the course an assessor will contact you within 24 hours to get you up and running on the NVQ as soon as possible. It usually takes three to four visits from one of our assessors and between four to six months of work to complete the City and Guilds 6089 qualification. Once you have completed the 6129 in addition to the 6089 you will be classed as a qualified plumber to NVQ Level 2.

Included in the course fees are up to 4 onsite assessments anywhere in the UK. Additional assessments, if required, are charged at £250 plus VAT per day (plus reasonable travel expenses).
