The 17th Edition training course is now available ONLINE! Instead of having to travel to a local training centre or college why not take the course in the comfort of your own home!

The 17th Edition training Qualification is the recognized City and Guilds 2382-10. The course is exactly the same as if you were to sit the course in a classroom environment. Work your way through the online course at your own pace, then have a go at the mock exam papers at the end of the course. When you are passing these on a regular basis and feel confident with it all, we will arrange for the the trainer to come and visit you for the real examination.

You will be given access to a tutor via phone or email should you have any questions to ask. Some people have managed to get through the course in as little as 2 days! However there is no time limit if you'd like to take things steady!

ONLINE 17th Edition Training Course Outline:

1. Scope, object and fundamental principles
2. Definitions
3. Assessment of General Characteristics
4. Protection for Safety
5. Selection and erection of equipment
6. Inspection and Testing
7. Specials Installations or Locations

Once you are enrolled on the course you will be able to access online learning materials consisting of 7 sections and appendices (17th Edition) and the numerous presentations.

Further revision papers are available - papers 1 to 3, with each one containing 60 multiple choice questions.

Once you feel ready to take the online City & Guilds test, contact your trainer and choose a suitable time and date to attend an examination. As previously mentioned, this could be at either your home, your work place or a local centre of ours.

In the unlikely event that you fail...

In the unfortunate event that you should fail the online test then you will be offered the opportunity of re-sitting the test at a chosen venue. There will be a charge if you fail the exam (there have been only 2 failures to date!).

Please note: If you decide to attend the course in a classroom, you will attend the course exam at the end of your course and therefore there is no requirement for us to arrange for an instructor to come to you).
